Wu Yanlin was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 2000. Currently living and working in
Taiwan. Focus on discussing the relationship between human
beings with other species, and international issues.
The series of works try to present the status quo of contemporary international
society. He is good at portraying this chaos through images such as interactive
sensing, mechanical power, space installations, and 3D. These works
blur the boundaries between ethnic groups and territories and wander in
between. It is a conceptual visual reinterpretation based on providing an
imperfect satire and cross-examination as a reflection of transcending materials
and technology, and embezzling the replication, commercialization, and flat
consumption characteristics of postmodern thought as the foundation. Dig
deep into the contradictions hidden behind the surface skin and the possibility
of advancement and extension.
